Aircraft Sales and Use Tax Exemption Bill is Filed for 2016 Earlier this week, Sen. Thad Altman and Rep. Charles Van Zant both filed the Aircraft Sales and Use tax exemption bill in their respective chambers. The bill, which proposes the complete elimination of state sales tax on aircraft sales, is getting solid attention from both the House and Senate this time around. While in Tallahassee for the GA Caucus meeting, FABA and other industry leaders met with many influential members of the legislature regarding the suggested legislation.
