As many of you are aware I have been spending a lot of time and effort along with Matt Dock of DynaVibe in trying to see how smooth we could make the Safari. We have focused on three areas.
1. Getting slop out of controls
2. Trim Tabs (for vertical vibes)
3. Chordwise balancing (for lateral)The first photo shows a 5 run average for both Lateral and Vertical IN FLIGHT

.06 IPS VerticalThe second picture shows the “Polar Chart” as I made adjustments. One outcome from this was the determination that using my chordwise weight location there is a good correlation that each 0.1 IPS out of balance requires 22 grams to correct. This piece of hard earned data should make it much quicker to achieve a good Lateral balance.
